Born in Naples, Nino Longobardi nourished his education as an autodidact, especially by spending time with artists, critics, gallerists such as Carlo Alfano and Joseph Beuys. He has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art and has work in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He has had solo exhibitions at Castel Nuovo, the Naples Museo Archeologico Nazionale, and the Museo Nazionale di Capodimonte, among others.
